Just some pictures for the kit I'm working on. It's from the snap-fit
stage which really helps me visualize what kind of modifications I can
make. It also helps me find seam lines that I will need to fix.
The inner frame of the torso looks great. Sadly it will hardly show when the armor is placed in. Nonetheless, I will be painting it a light shade of gold. The chest armor is pretty plain and simple. I will think of some modifications to it to make it look more sophisticated.
The wings of the Strike Freedom are clearly elegant! It's what caught my eye and is one of the reasons I decided to get this kit. The wings look great with or without the dragoons. No plans as of now to modify this part because I think that it look great already. I'm actually afraid that I'd just ruin this part if I try to change anything. This just needs some paint and it's ready to go! Cant wait!
However, the dragoons have very visible seam lines in the edges and in the center (as seen in the picture). This is going to be a very repetitive and boring seam line removal process.

Heartbreak moment when I accidentally broke the white waist armor piece while assembling the kit, and further damaged the plastic while I was trying to cement the two pieces back together. It's fixable but I'm just discouraged and lazy right now.
The MG Strike Freedom looks good especially when the gold inner frame pops out through the plain and boring outer armor. I plan on adding detail and panel lines to the outer frame to make it more visually appealing.
Finally, just a height comparison of the leg and a 1/144 HG Hazel II. It's almost as tall as the HG kit! By the way, the HG Hazel II is one of my old kits that I just snap-fitted without care. There's a lot of nub marks and plastic damage due to plastic stress. Hence, I plan on revitalizing this poor kit and make it my future project!
Stay tuned!
